Cross of Life Montessori School (COLM) is an accredited Montessori preschool in Roswell, Georgia, conveniently located for families in Roswell, Alpharetta, East Cobb, Milton, and beyond. We serve children ages 18 months through 6 years in a calm, nurturing, child-centered environment.
Our classrooms offer an authentic Montessori experience with AMI-trained teachers, small class sizes, and individualized learning.
Set on a beautiful wooded campus, children enjoy daily outdoor time and hands-on exploration in nature. Enrichment includes music, Spanish, and opportunities that support the whole child - socially, emotionally, and academically.
As a Christian Montessori school, we emphasize respect, kindness, and community while welcoming families of all backgrounds. We are also one of the only Montessori schools in Georgia to offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd curriculum for our Primary students.

Accreditation
Cross of Life Christian Montessori School is an integral part of the ministry of Cross of Life Lutheran Church. The purpose of the school is to provide Christian Montessori education in partnership with parents so that children may be nurtured in the Word and Will of God so that:
Children develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills, appreciation and ideas that are essential for a lifetime of creative learning.
Children are taught by certified Montessori teachers in the peaceful surrounding of the Montessori classroom
Children feel the inner security in this well-ordered environment to develop the confidence to be an independent learner and have the freedom to be curious and discover.
Children can build, success upon success, and develop a positive attitude toward school, a sense of community and habits of concentration and persistence.
Children learn to recognize themselves as persons of worth and learn to understand and appreciate their talents and gifts from God. Though much has been said about the academic achievement of Montessori Students, the value lies in the self-discipline, self-mastery and love of learning that the children achieve.
Children may be provided with this comprehensive program of education, so that they may develop their talents and skills for responsible Christian living and service.

Cross of Life Christian Montessori School was founded in 1994 as a ministry of Cross of Life Lutheran Church, beginning with just seven students and one teacher. Today, we serve approximately 30 children and families from Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, East Cobb, and Sandy Springs.
We offer an authentic Montessori education for children ages toddler through the Kindergarten year, providing more than an award-winning learning environment. Our classrooms foster independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in a calm, nurturing setting.
Located on thirteen wooded acres in Roswell, our campus gives children daily opportunities to explore and connect with nature. Our schoolyard is recognized as a certified wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, supporting meaningful outdoor experiences.
At Cross of Life, children, families, and teachers grow together in a close-knit community, nurturing both intellect and spirit. Our Parent Association is very active and provides opportunities to socialize, become friends with other families, and support the school.
Church membership is not required to attend COLM. Approximately one-fourth of our families are members of Cross of Life Lutheran Church, and all families are warmly invited to participate in church life. Whether through special children’s events or weekly services, you are always welcome to join us at any time, regardless of your religious background or faith tradition
