Week 1 I do music every day for about 15 minutes, usually after the morning snack, and I repeat the same lesson plan for a week. Repetition is key at this age and this way your toddler will learn the beat, rhythm, and also the lyrics. You may add movement to it as needed, you may use songs you know or look for similar resources. The essential is to have fun. Enjoy! Week 2 This week’s music includes 3 songs that we’ve been singing this year, Who’s That, The Butterfly, and The Coo Coo Song. They all love and know them. I made videos of me singing them, you’ll find them on the Facebook PA page. I am sure everyone will enjoy them. Feel free to continue singing the songs from last week or songs you know. Listen to any type of music with your toddlers, from classical to rock, and don’t forget to dance! The most important thing is to have fun.
Week 3 Remember, we usually do music every day for about 10 to 15 minutes, if your toddler stays focused and interested, usually after the morning snack (you may do it after the afternoon one), and I repeat the same lesson plan for a week. Repetition is key at this age and this way your toddler will learn the beat, rhythm, and also the lyrics.
You may add movement to it as needed, you may use songs you know or look for similar resources. The essential is to have fun. Repeat every day, as many times as you want, children respond well to music! Please follow the link to watch this week’s video from Musikgarten. This is different from what I sent the first week, but still very similar to what we’ve done in class this year. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piEcOF8qQug
