School Supplies We are requiring all children to come to school with their own pencil boxes (hard plastic boxes to make cleaning easy). Please include the following: Regular Lead Pencils Erasers Colored Pencils Crayons Glue Sticks
Make sure to label your child’s pencil box.
One Towel, Labeled (Bath Size) Instead of using floor mats for work, every child will use their own ‘mat’ (a bath towel) that is brought from home. We will wash these 2x a week.
Classroom Supplies Please bring 3 boxes of tissues, and 3 bottles of hand soap per child. Also, if you happen to see Clorox Wipes, we would greatly appreciate you bringing those in as well!
Lunch and Snack
Snack will be provided for Phase-In Week only (the week of August 17). Until such time as we can safely go back to doing snack as a part of our classroom activity, we ask that your child bring their own snack to school daily. A pack of crackers, some cut up fruit, etc. would be appropriate. Make sure that snack is packed in a disposable container or bag. If your child stays for lunch, please make sure that their snack is labeled as ‘Snack.’
Lunch – All lunches must be packed in FULLY DISPOSABLE containers. For example, lunches are to be brought to school in either paper or plastic bags. Pack food items in small Ziploc bags. You may bring a labeled ice pack if your child’s lunch needs to be kept cold. NO HEAT UPS until further notice! Unfortunately, all uneaten food will have to be thrown out, so please make sure your portion sizes are appropriate. Water will be provided in disposable cups. Your child will NOT need a cloth napkin at this point in time.
Masks/Face Coverings Stefanie has briefly mentioned wearing face coverings. Just a reminder – if your child is wearing a face mask (as opposed to a shield), please make sure that they are NOT character based (e.g. no Disney characters, super heroes, etc.)
Extra Clothes Shoe Box Please remember to bring extra clothing for your child (seasonally appropriate shirts/pants, socks, underwear and an extra pair of shoes). All clothing must be labelled, and please label your child’s box.
