This fall, we took our family field trip back to Berry Patch Farms! The children started the visit by seeing all of the animals. There were "kids" (two baby goats), pigs, turkeys, chickens, a dog and some ponies. Soon, it was time for our hayride to the pumpkin patch! Once we arrived, the children LOVED racing around in the field with rows of squash, gourds and mini pumpkins. There were plenty to find, some just resting on the ground and others still on the vine. The fun continued as we made our way through the rows of cotton plants into the patch with the big pumpkins. The children loved exploring in the patch by running, jumping over pumpkins, trying to roll the largest ones and picking out one to take home. We took another hayride back to the main picnic area to enjoy some fresh apple cider. The children were off to play more on the red tractor, play-set and tire swing. A wonderful time was had by all. Happy Fall, Y'all!!
