THE PARENT'S CORNER
Cross of Life Christian Montessori School is not just a school but a family. We would not be where or who we are today without the help of our parents. Our Parents Corner is designed to encourage involvement in our programs and activities by providing news and information to help you make the most of your child’s Cross of Life Christian Montessori experience. As parents, you are essential partners with the school in your children’s education. It is vital that parents recognize the personal responsibility they assume when enrolling their child. Whatever the involvement, those who benefit from our efforts are the children. Be generous with your talents and hobbies. Your help will enrich the school experience for your child, as well as for you and the children of others.
As a small but growing school, we are always in need of parents to assist us in many ways. Opportunities exist for parents with all types of skills, backgrounds, and time to contribute. These can range from volunteering during school hours (as room parents, classroom substitutes, or office assistants) to volunteering behind the scenes (with material marketing, fundraising, or planning special school-wide events). Volunteers for garden and facilities maintenance are also welcomed. Please let your teacher or the director know how you would like to help.
